FAQ

Have questions about therapy or how we work? Here, we’ve answered some of the most common questions to help you feel informed, comfortable, and confident as you take the next step on your journey.

Where are you located?

All sessions at LOGOS psychotherapy are virtual! We meet in the comfort of your own home.

How often will we meet?

Therapy yields the best results when done on a consistent basis. Most often weekly is recommended. Therapists might also recommend stepping frequency up or down on a case-by-case basis.

How often are sessions scheduled?

Sessions are typically weekly, but frequency can be adjusted to fit your needs.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is fully protected according to professional and legal guidelines.

How long are sessions?

Sessions can be 45-60 minutes depending on preference.

How do I know which type of therapy is right for me?

We offer a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, and EMDR. Together, we’ll assess your needs and goals to determine the most effective approach, and we can adjust as your journey progresses.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently in network with Carelon, AETNA, and Cigna for New Jersey state.

Did you know your insurance might help cover the cost of therapy, even if I’m not in-network? Many plans offer out-of-network benefits, which means you could get reimbursed for a portion of each session.

And you don’t have to figure this out on your own. I      can check your benefits for you and let you know exactly what you’d pay per session before we even get started.

If you have OON benefits, you may only owe a copay at each session instead of the full fee. Want to see what that looks like for you?
